Photographer Terry Partlon photo's of NS Turtles
A new shop opened up in Haleiwa in October 2008. Terry Partlon shoots Turtles as well as other sea creatures for your viewing pleasure. See his web site at: http://www.turtlesandmoregallery.com He's located in Haleiwa next to Grass Skirts on the mauka side of Kamehameha Hwy in the heart of Haleiwa (also across from Stortos Deli) or at 66-218 Kamehameha Hwy, in Haleiwa. And since this is a Turtle Blog spot for Haleiwa, I wanted to highlight his work. Terry can be reached at 808-741-3510.

Here one is just coming out of the water

Here they're sleeping on the shore at night time. Often there are up to 10+ turtles in all sizes sleeping on the beach.

Here's one when it's still in the water deciding whether or not to beach itself

Always keep your distance when approaching a turtle to insure their safety. NOAA wants us to keep a fair distance and not to feed them. Remember Honey Girl? Someone chose not to respect her and killed her. For more on Honey Girl see: http://honeygirlrewardfund.com/
